How Operax works

Seven steps, in this order, every time. Nothing in the middle is skipped because the AI was confident.

1. Connect

You sign in with Google or Meta and choose which ad account Operax should look at. Operax never picks the account for you. New connections start read-only: the code path that sends changes to the platform is blocked on the server, not just hidden in the interface.

2. Audit

Findings are computed by fixed rules and statistics over your data. Each one shows its date range, its sample size and the rows behind it.

  • Campaigns and ad groups: what each one spends every day, and the results your ad platforms report against it
  • Search terms: what people actually typed before clicking, and which of those never convert
  • Keywords and quality score
  • Ads and individual headlines and descriptions
  • Budgets and impression share: whether you are losing traffic to budget or to ad rank
  • Performance Max asset groups
  • Conversion tracking health

3. Propose

An AI agent reviews the findings, prioritises them, and writes up proposed changes. Every change an AI agent proposes to your ads cites the evidence it rests on. The server checks that the evidence exists, is recent and supports that exact change before the proposal can reach you.

Example

4. Approve, or automate

By default every change waits for you. You can allow particular kinds of change to be applied automatically, per kind, inside the guardrails you set. How far that can go depends on your plan.

See what each plan allows

5. Apply safely

The guardrails are re-checked at the moment of execution, against what your accounts report right then — not against the numbers the proposal was written with. Anything Operax creates is created paused. Before a change is sent, Operax records how to undo it.

6. Measure

Each change carries an expected effect and a measurement window. Small accounts produce noisy numbers, so Operax uses count-based statistics and minimum sample sizes, and reports “unmeasurable” when it cannot tell.

7. Learn

Measured outcomes are kept and used to weigh future proposals. You can see the full track record, including the changes that did not help.
